2020 BJU Journeys of Paul Tour

A Tour in Turkey and Greece with an Optional Extension to Rome

October 4-14, 2020 or October 4-16 with the Rome Extension

Follow the footsteps of the Apostle Paul on an unforgettable journey that will make the events of the book of Acts and the New Testament epistles come alive. Observe the unspoiled scenic landscapes as well as the fascinating ruins of ancient cities that still reflect the first-century world. Walk the streets of Constantinople (modern Istanbul), the site of much early Christian history. Sit in the theater at Ephesus where a riotous mob shouted in vain against the power of the gospel. Stand on the Areopagus in Athens where Paul challenged pagan idolaters with the truth of the resurrection.

This informative and inspirational tour will visit the key biblical sites in western Turkey. We will cruise to Greece, enjoying the beautiful Isle of Patmos along the way, where the Apostle John was exiled, as well as the islands of Crete and Santorini. Then we will explore the fascinating cities of Athens and Corinth. For those who choose the optional extension, the tour will culminate in Rome, featuring the Coliseum and Roman Forum, the Mamertine Prison and Catacombs, as well as the Vatican Museum and St. Peter’s Basilica. Don’t miss this soul-stirring opportunity to see the places where the gospel changed the world. You will never be the same again.

The COVID-19 pandemic has curtailed travel this spring and into the summer months, but with reopening entering the early stages both in the States and around the world, we are optimistic that our tour this fall will proceed as planned
